Dear Master Tan,
If my house faces south at 176 degree, is it alright for the water to run from left to right?
Thanks.

Regards,
Lau

It does not matter whether the water runs from left to right or right to left. The important part is

1) what Qi is the water carrying to the house or away from the house.

2) the speed, cleanliness and the water formation.

3) is there a water node where Qi accumulates and what is the orientation to the main door or other doors.

Dear Master Tan,

Thanks for the reply. I mean the rain water collected from the gutter and exit out to the main drain at a certain degree measured from the center of the house facade. Or the water from the back of the house collected from the gutter and flow out from the back of the house at a certain angle or degree before it exit into the drain outside of the house. They called "special water dragon exits from Di Li Wu Jue". Is it a classical chinese feng shui method of genarating wealth? Thanks Master.

Gutter Water, in my opinion has no effect on water formula.

Ponder on this phrase.."Qi carries by the wind and reside at the boundary of water" Book of Burial.

Very good thinking Qi mgmt.

Water Dragon formula is for natural water flow which is constantly flowing like a stream or river.

Can we build an artificial one with the pump recycling the water? In our modern terrace houses we cannot benefit from a natural flowing stream anymore not like in those kampong or village. Thanks Master Tan and Qi.

Lau,

The water has to flow a hundred footstep before turning and there are a few turns. It depends on your interpretation of how long is a footstep. Try a casual walk of a hundred steps and what is your average distance.

It is certainly not possible for a terrace house :) The external land size has to be quite big.

Dear Master Tan,
My lakeside house is facing SW whereas the lake is at NE, back of the house. My questions are:
Since I have many windows at NE (lake view) consider that facing direction? I also use the back door (North) frequently.
Yes, I have experienced poor support and I wonder if building a wall at the back help?
