Hi,
I have read the comment on the artical "please help! new house woes". It is really good adivce and I strongly seek for advice for my house.
My name is Sarah, I am Vietnamese but leaving in Singapore with husband and a baby girl.
I have moved in my house for about 2 year ( since July 2008) after giving brith my girl 2 days. I came to the new house directory from hospital.
I bought it overed from a broken chinese family as they wanted to sell away the house to settle on the divorce and they praying inside the house also.
After moved in the house, we can earn money but we really can not save any amount of money, I feel the money has gone some where even before I realise it.
My girl borned 22 july 2008 often get sick especially at home with us during weekends.
I was borned in 27 dec 1982 and my hs 10 Aug 1983.
I did not know about feng shui after moved in the house.
I have tried to apply feng shui inside the house but it not really help much since I dont have much experience. My house is a typical corridor HDB house. The master bedroom's window faces north-east while the living room's window faces south-west. My main door, kitchen door and service yard ( 3 doors) are in the line. I have put 2 half moon table with flowers recently.
We sleep with the baby in the middle ( she wants to sleep with us). We facing north-west bed head at the en-suit toilet wall with aircon right on top.
I do not know how to up load my house plan here. pls, advice me to do so that you might have clearer pic.
Pls, give some advice for the layout.

Hi Sarah
1. Can you stand outside your main door and take the compass direction and show it on the plan what degrees.
2. Can you take a photo of you building in front an 1 from the back of your apartment.
3. What is in the sector just above Bath1/Bath2?
A. From the picture, i assume the service balcony is outside the house, right?
Assuming this is right this house has issue like you mentioned, money seems hard to accumulate.
B. Your daughter symptom should only a recent event maybe since couple of months ago. Is this true? Did the doctor says anything about her frequent recurrence?

Thank you so much for your concern. I only can take pics during weekends cause working late.
1) my house direction is 230 degree if i stand at my main door.
2) pls, follow the link there are some of photo I took infont my house and behind my main bedroom door.

For quick recap infont my house there is end of service road follow by big drain running , main road and forbidden forest. There is on chinese temple which to put ash-bone after the road on my building on the West. There is mutiple-storey car park behind my main bedroom following by other blocks. I hope those pictures can capture what I mean.
3) I stay in 9 floor. so there is bathroom on top and bottom of my house bathroom, too.
A) The service balcony is inside my house but only half high brick wall and half-high window.
B) My girl started her sick since 8th months till recently she is getting better. I have covered my shinny wardrop by wall paper, all the curtains and put her on bed cause i took it out since she fell down few time. The doctor said just some kind of allergic and low immune system.

Hi Sarah,
I have 5 simple method to help you lessen your problems but since this is a free public forum, i can only help in my limited capacity.
1. move/orientate the master bed to similar orientation as the bed in room 2.
2. replace half moon table with a cabinet or shelf.
3. put a black door mat inside the house. it should be of reasonable size.
4. if you can, don't open the window in the master room. Keep it close as much as possible.
5. Hang a calabash near your bedroom.
Have faith and you will find improvement in near future.
Lastly i hope you will give some feedback to this forum.

Hi Qi_mgmt,
Thank you for your advice. However, i would like to clarify some of the item.
1) If I move the bed orentation as same as bedroom 2 it means the bed head is leading to the wall but is it ok if the bed is linning between the bedroom door and the master bedroom ( glass panel with blue sticker done by old owner)? Do I need to consider the chi flows direct from the beddoor cut thought the bed to the window? Normally i will open abit at the middle window for ventilation everyday.
2) Where should i put the cabinet? what is the size? does it really have to cover the main door size?
3) Why it is black mat and it is not colourfull to invite the forture?
5) Where should i hang the calabash? on top of the door or at the door handle?
I am thinking of getting new paint color to my main door. Do you think is it work? what color should I paint?

1) i dont get what you mean by " linning bet bed room door and master bedroom" ? What i meant was your bed headboard to be against the wall bet your master room and room 2.
if you can, keep close the window, just try for 2-3months.
2) size maybe 1m long 80cm high with long side parallel to the door orientation and with one side next to the wall. Size is just an indication.
3) Hehe...
4) ??
5) anywhere near the bed but not under the bed please.
New Color for the door? How about Sky Blue? looks nice & contemporary...

Thank you for your advice,
1) I mean if I put the bed follow the bedroom 2 direction then the bed will lie between bedroom door and window, there is apart of the beam pertruding out from the wall also.
2) I have one more concer that I am hanging 1 pic of the church fill with snow surrounded by trees on the wall between bedroom 2 and 3 ( southeast). Is it ok? Where is the best place to hang inside my house?

Hi Sarah,
1) how does the beam protrude out? hard to imagine but apart from this is ok. small matter if the bed face the door, just keep the .
2) does not matter as far as classical feng shui is concern.

1) the beam is above the wall. It pertruding out about 200mm on top and I having up turn small light for sleeping hanging there too.

If you think your issue of not able to accumulate wealth is really bad, then better you change your bed or if you dont mind use room 2. If you think your issue is manageable, keep it as it is since this is done over a forum it will be difficult to access all possible solutions.
The other solutions mentioned earlier will be able to help you too.

Hi Qi,
Thank you for your advice.
I has changed the bed orentation since my husband and baby still prefer the master bedroom although the other rooms are empty.
I also follow your previous advices and I hang clear crystall ball over the sharp corner at the beam and infont of the two toilet doors.
I hope things will get better cause recently my husband lost quite big amount of money also. I will update you the result soon.

I and my husband are water when my daughter is fire. Is it main reason my baby sick very often.

Sarah,
Your daughter is not Fire...why did you say she is fire?
I don't think it is due to you if it is not that she got it from the parents.
Just make sure you hang the calabash there and watch her diet.
In fact this year it will be easier for even you both to fall sick.

Hi Qi,
I Already hang the calabash near her bed.
She is recovering now, I praying for her every day. Last month she sick whole month then this month it has been 3 weeks. Then doctor has done so many test for her but still can not find the reason.
My mum said old people say she is Fire ( her DOB: 22/07/2008) while me (DOB: 27/12/1982) and my husband (DOB: 10/08/1983) are water. That the reason cause she sick quite often.
I just try my best to see what can I do to improve the situation.

Good to hear that, give it some time it will help reduce the sickness.
Remember good healthy practice and proper food is also crucial. if she is allergy to colds or air dust, keep the windows closed as much as you can. Also i did prescribe this earlier.
Did you try a 2nd opinion from other clinics?
Dont worry you both are not causing any problems in Feng Shui terms to your daughter.
Have faith and patience. Things will be better.
Finally, when you can afford try getting a consultant to give a thorough audit on your house. What I have afforded here is limited like a panadol to give you temp relief....haha.... since it is via forum. Anyway i believe it shouldn't be that expensive.

Hi Qi,
I really appreciate to your advice.
I ever thought of getting the consultant for advice. However, haha dun know which one is good and they asking quite high in Singapore for the whole 4 room flat audit while I just need some advice to improve the existing home layout without any renovation works.
