Hi all,
Could someone help me? We just moved in to a new apartment. But the fact that the main door is facing exactly the elevator of the building is haunting me, am wondering if this is bad for us, because I understand that main door must face an open space.
Second thing, the gym and the swimming fool is located at the roof top of the building.
Please advice . Your help is highly regarded.

Door facing another door (or lift here) is not advisable. The chi from the lift would crash into your front door. However, if the distance is more than 10 feet, the effect could be minimised.
Gym is ok. As regards the swimming pool, it is no good if your unit is just beneath it.

Dear Kych,
Thanks a lot for sharing your views. In fact, you just confirmed what is exactly in my mind. The elevator is just a few steps from the door of the apartment
In fact, since we moved in, I never had peace because it keeps on haunting me. Now we are looking for a new apartment, thanks for the advise, it really help a lot to decide.

By the way, not only there is noise pollution (from the opening and closing of the lift door, classical fs also states that it amounts to nose pulling chi...ie there is no wealth retention!
