If you are staying in a double storey house, and if the kitchen is below your bedroom.

Where is the stove located in the kitchen?

Where is your bed located in your bedroom?

Is the stove located directly below the bed?

Your bed should not be placed directly above the stove.

Sleeping is a Yin activity, and you need good yin qi for a good sleep. However, the fire which is produced by the stove in the kitchen generates yang qi. It disrupts the yin qi of the bed. Consequently, it could disrupt your sleep, and it is detrimental for your health.

Nevertheless, if the height of the kitchen ceiling is substantial, then this is not a real problem.

Even if you are using an induction cooker, which works using the electricity instead of the fire, it could disturb the yin qi of the bed as well. However, the gas stove which uses the fire is a stronger disturbance of yin qi compared to an induction cooker.

Remedy: Relocate the bed or the stove.

All of us spend a lot of time in the bedroom. You spend 7 to 8 hours sleeping. The Feng Shui of your bedroom affect you to a very large extend. Having the bed placed against a solid wall on an auspicious location in relation to your bedroom door and windows is very important if you wish to have good romance, relationship, descendent or health luck.
